Otis McDonald R I P

Sadly, I learned yesterday of the passing of Otis McDonald, a giant in the firearms civil rights movement. You can see my piece about Otis over at Examiner.

Otis's death reminds me that we are all mortal. Whether we live to a ripe old age, or die in our youth, our days on this earth are numbered. The Bible states that it is appointed to man once to live, and once to die; and after that the Judgement.

Do you know which side of eternity you will be on? Check out my Got Jesus? page.

Identification friend or foe

In telecommunicationsidentification, friend or foe (IFF) is an identification system designed for command and control.  It enables military and national (civilian-located ATC) interrogation systems to identify aircraft, vehicles or forces as friendly and to determine their bearing and range from the interrogator. (from Wikipedia).

Now, defensive handgun carriers can access a database map that shows carry friendly and unfriendly locations. It is known as-

 Friend or Foe

Be sure to:
1. check the list before you go.
2. check the doors every where you go (situations change).
3. post your observations to the map.
