The Knoxville News-Sentinel printed my letter comparing carry permit fees to the poll tax. Thanks KNS.

Are we at greater terrorist risk as a result of bin Laden's death?

I cover this over at my Examiner column, titled Osama's dead; are Knoxvillians now at higher terror risk?

Packing heat at the NRA show

If you are planning on attending the NRA annual meeting this weekend, note that NRA says that it is legal to carry, so long as you obey the law.

Don't forget Cooper's four rules. Keep that gun in its holster, too, unless you need to use it. Don't be showing it off at the show.

Have fun.....

From the NRA website:
Note: Lawfully carried firearms are permitted in the Convention Center, in the Exhibit Hall and in the CONSOL Energy Center. Heinz Field prohibits the possession of firearms. When carrying your firearm, remember to follow all federal, state and local laws.

Would Jesus own a gun?

Obviously he would not need one, but will you?

Check out MJM's analysis of and response to a Christian smearing piece in the KNS at MJ Mollenhour's Blog.
