Planned Parenthood out, but not yet!

We learn today from the Knoxville News-Sentinel that, although Planned Parenthood is getting the boot, it won't happen until the end of the school year:
Because the decision comes in the middle of the academic year, previously scheduled presentations by independent groups will be allowed to take place so as not to disrupt teachers' plans and class schedules, McIntyre said in a memo to school board members.
Does the school board not understand that the proletariat really don't want their children being taught by Planned Parenthood?

I just wonder, could they find qualified volunteers from the community to teach these classes without putting the PP spin on it?

What's wrong with electing the school superintendent, like we did in the past? Hiring the super insulates him from the people who pay his salary and makes it more difficult to hold him accountable.

Planned Parenthood aborted by Knox County Schools

Check latest update!

Michael Silence reports that the Knox County Schools have given Planned Parenthood the boot.

Could it be that Superintendent McIntyre and the Board of Education were just getting too much heat? Maybe they are thinking, PP gets the boot now or we get the boot next election.

Drill baby, drill

Gas is up again today, with the unrest in Libya.
Unless/until we gain some national sense and drill here, and also build our refinery capacity, it will just get worse. Quickly or slowly, I don't know.

And plugging your car into the already overloaded grid is not the answer, either.

Duh!
